Zero-Data Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 2026
Client Confidentiality Guarantee: ComDocs Pro operates under a strict Zero-Data Architecture. No court documents, matter file numbers, party names, or portal login credentials are ever collected, transmitted, or stored on any server. Everything executes locally inside your web browser.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
ComDocs Pro does not collect, log, or transmit:
- Any court documents, affidavits, applications, submissions, or orders.
- Matter numbers (e.g. VID / NSD file numbers), court titles, or case descriptions.
- Names of parties, solicitors, barristers, or judicial officers.
- Commonwealth Courts Portal login details, passwords, or session cookies.
- Portal browsing history or navigation activity.
2. Local Browser Operations
All operations performed by ComDocs Pro occur entirely within your local browser session:
- File Downloads: Files are requested directly from the Commonwealth Courts Portal (comcourts.gov.au) by your browser and saved directly to your local computer's
Downloads folder.
- Word Index Generation: The document index (.docx) is constructed directly in your browser's local memory and written to disk without contacting any server.
- Settings Storage: Your interface settings (such as folder splitting preferences) and your activated license key are saved strictly in your browser's local storage.
3. License Verification
When you subscribe, payments are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company). When you activate ComDocs Pro, the extension transmits only the license key string to Lemon Squeezy's API to verify activation against your 2-seat limit. No case information is ever included in license verification.
